FAQ
Is this an official event app?
No. NINTH ZONE is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, associated with, authorised or sponsored by any competition organisation, its organisers or its licensees. Events are named by city and date.
When is my access valid?
A Zone opens at 00:01 on the first race day and closes at midnight, when the last one ends. For Mexico City that means 29 October, 00:01 to 2 November, 00:00. On 2 November your Zone profile, what you declared and any requests nobody accepted no longer exist. Your account and the connections you accepted survive.
What information can I share?
Only the channel you authorise, and only after you accept that specific connection. You can authorise just Instagram and nothing else. Your phone number is never revealed unless you make it a channel and accept.
Can I follow any athlete in the race?
No. Only people who have a NINTH ZONE profile and chose to publish their race context. NINTH ZONE has no integration with the event organiser: no API, no start lists, no official results. What you see is what each athlete writes about their own race, and never their location.
Is there an age requirement?
Yes, 18 or older. NINTH ZONE has no mode for minors, and the declaration is required to create an account.
Can I get a refund?
Two guarantees, in writing. If the Zone does not open, you are refunded in full. And you can request a refund up to 24 hours before it opens, for any reason.
